Epoch Labs LLP ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.epochlabs.dev and develops mobile applications, including Call Me—a simulated fake phone call application. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.

1. Information Collection and Use

We believe in "privacy by design." Call Me's core functionality—call simulations, caller profiles, and settings—works entirely offline and locally on your device.

  • No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your real name, email address, or phone number.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account to use our App.
  • Local-First: All call simulations, caller profiles, settings, and activity data remain entirely on your device. Core features work without an internet connection.
  • Anonymous Analytics: We collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable usage data to improve the App experience. See Section 3 for details.

2. App Functionality (Local Processing)

Call Me simulates incoming phone calls for entertainment, practice, or personal use.

  • On-Device Only: All call simulations, caller profiles, and settings are processed and stored locally on your device.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not upload any of your personal data, profiles, or settings to external servers. Your content never leaves your device.
  • Minimal Network Use: The App may transmit anonymous analytics data and process in-app purchases when an internet connection is available. No personal content is transmitted.

3. Third-Party Services

To support development and improve the App, we use the following third-party services:

  • In-App Purchases (Pro Mode): We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable data such as purchase tokens and device identifiers to process transactions and prevent fraud. Epoch Labs LLP does not collect your financial or credit card information. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics (Mixpanel): We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the user experience. The data collected includes:
    • A randomly generated anonymous identifier (not linked to your real identity)
    • General device information (platform type, e.g. "Android")
    • App usage events (e.g., which screens are visited, buttons tapped, features used)
    • Session recordings of in-app interactions for improving user experience (no personal content, contacts, messages, or data outside the App is captured)

    We do not collect your real name, phone number, email, contacts, photos, or any data outside of the App. Analytics data is transmitted securely via HTTPS. For more information, see Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.

  • Advertisements: This application does not contain nor display any advertisements.

4. Data Safety Compliance

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements:

  • We do not "sell" user data.
  • We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • Anonymous analytics data and purchase tokens transmitted to third-party services (Mixpanel, RevenueCat) are encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
  • Analytics identifiers are randomly generated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Because we do not store personal data or use accounts, there is no "data deletion" required for personal information; however, you can manage your Google Play purchase history through your Google Account settings.
  • You may clear locally stored analytics identifiers by clearing the App's data through your device settings.
