Epoch Labs LLP ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.epochlabs.dev and develops mobile applications, including our Drum Kit Application. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.

1. Information Collection and Use

We believe in "privacy by design."

  • No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account to use our Apps.

2. Audio & Sharing (Ephemeral Processing)

Our Drum Kit App allows you to create and share audio loops.

  • On-Device Only: Audio is generated in real-time in your device's memory.
  • No Local Storage: The App does not require access to your device’s permanent storage or media library. It does not save files to your phone.
  • Sharing: When you use the "Share" feature, the App generates a temporary audio file to pass to the Android system's sharing menu (Intent). Once the sharing action is complete, this temporary data is cleared. We never see, hear, or store your creations.
  • No Microphone Access: This App does not use or request permission for your device’s microphone.

3. Monetization & Third-Party Services

To support our development, we may use the following third-party services:

  • In-App Purchases (Skins): We use Google Play Billing for digital purchases. Epoch Labs LLP does not collect your financial or credit card information. All transactions are handled by Google. We only receive a "purchase token" to verify that you have unlocked your drum skins.
  • Advertisements: At this time, our applications do not contain nor display advertisements.

4. Data Safety Compliance

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements:

  • We do not "sell" user data.
  • Data transmitted (such as purchase tokens or ad IDs) is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
  • Because we do not store personal data or use accounts, there is no "data deletion" required for personal information; however, you can manage your Google Play purchase history through your Google Account settings.
